Supercharger Top Upper Pulley Upgrade Jaguar Land Rover AJ V8 4.0 4.2 V8.

We are able to offer upgraded supercharger pulleys to fit Jaguar and Range Rover AJ V8 supercharged
cars. These items are CNC machined from the highest quality materials, produced to exacting standards.

Upper pulleys have been produced in two sizes to give either 6% or 10% supercharger speed increase,
equating to approximately 1.5/2.5psi boost rise, on 4.0 and 4.2 engines. The lower pulley gives 16% on 4.0
engines and 8% on 4.2 engines (which already have a larger lower wheel as standard). Some providers
quote a 35-40bhp increase for these modifications. Realistically, the upper 10% will give 30-35bhp/ftlb
midrange, upper 6% about 25, the lower 40-45, and all may give perhaps 10-15bhp peak increase at high
rpm, due to the Eaton M112’s reduced efficiency at higher rpm. All pulleys produce a significant
improvement and very noticeable increase in instant acceleration.

Our upper pulleys are made in stainless steel, turned to give a very smooth
and aesthetically pleasing finish, and produced with a consistent .0002” /
0.005mm inner bore tolerance to ensure consistent and reliable shaft fitment.
Unlike some aluminium versions of this upgrade, belt slippage is not a
problem with these steel pulleys.
