The factory intercooler pipe on 150-180bhp VAG models is a very restrictive flattened pipe (hence its nick name "pancake pipe"). The pancake kit, replaces this pipe with a high flow pipe, allowing upto 20% more air flow to the intercooler. The pipe is made from a Stainless Steel construction.

This kit removes the bottle necks in the original VAG pipe work and will help improve throttle response and reduce pressure drop between the turbo and intake.
