Aluminium EGR Valve Delete Kit Volkswagen Transporter T5 2.5Tdi ( Electronic EGR ) As your original EGR system becomes blocked, dysfunctional and effects economy the EGR Kit is a direct and simple replacement as a d.i.y option. Get rid of all the problems associated with faulty or leaking EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) systems. EGR Delete kits replace exhaust gas re-circulation (EGR) valve assembly, for improved performance, thermal efficiency, fuel consumption and smoke emission. Eliminates tar and sediment build up inside inlet manifold, which in turn reduces air flow. Improves thermal efficiency by reducing heat build up in the inlet manifold. The EGR Delete has no internal restrictions, unlike the original EGR valve assembly. All these benefits combine to give improvements in overall fuel consumption and performance with a reduction in exhaust smoke.
Fits the following engine - Volkswagen T5 Van or Transporter Series - 2.5 Tdi (5 Cylinder) Please note ! This kit will fit the later 2006-2009 "electronic" EGR models but this will sometimes result in an engine check lamp appearing on the dash, however If you still wish to remove your EGR valve we do recommend a re-map of the ECU where by the EGR ability can be removed completely, this can be carried out by an experienced tuner.

Kit is complete with "O" ring and fitting instructions, EGR exhaust blanking adaptor + hose clip, boost take off adaptor and stainless M6 securing bolts, designed for the 2.5 Tdi engines. The kit is simple to fit requiring only regular tools, remove the OEM egr valve, remove the OEM black hose, follow instructions on how to remove the clasp/adaptor from the hose, refit new kit, it's simple.
