FMWG001 Forge External Turbo Wastegate 44mm

This 44mm External Wastegate is the result of years of development and redevelopment from Forge Motorsport. Among the many design features, one of the most impressive is the use of a piston-actuated mechanism, rather than the more common and less durable, diaphragm type.

Our Wastegate has been designed from the outset to cope with the rigours of motorsport, being able to withstand large horsepower, boost, and temperature figures, for sustained periods without any loss of function. The piston body is produced from aerospace grade Inconel, an Iron, Nickel, and Chromium alloy. The valve guide is made using Nitronic Stainless Steel, making the External Wastegate supremely durable. All of the associated parts, including the casting, valve seat bushing, and ancillaries have been precisely and professionally machined from stainless steel. All of this makes the External Wastegate an extremely reliable and high quality must have, for road and track motorsport.

We produce the external wastegate with three possible boost ports in the base. This allows greater flexibility if your application is space restricted. (We supply the wastegate with two blanking plugs for this feature, as well as the banjo outlets). The unit is supplied with inlet and outlet mating flanges and ‘V’ band clamps for 360° rotational boost connections.

Forge's External Wastegate can be precisely tailored to each individual application with the use of the eight different spring configurations. Please inform us the pressure that you would like the piston to open at, so we can provide you with a wastegate fitted with the correct spring. Do this by making a note in coments box of checkout. If this is not done, our weakest, 'small green' coded spring will be fitted.
