BMW 320 / 330 D Interooler Kit + Fitting pack ALLARD FRONT MOUNT INTERCOOLER CONVERSION

Our Allard intercooler conversions are a front mount design incorporating the fitting pack (clips and brackets set). The intercooler is easily fitted normally taking 3-4 hours to fit using regular workshop tools, the intercooler outlet and inlet tubes fit directly into the original hoses (some models have smaller bore, please ask details upon purchase).

There are two kit versions available, this is determinded by the number of fans fitted to your car, regardless of having air conditioning or not, if you don't have the large single fan fitted to the front of the radiator and as standard then you will not require the additonal twin fan arrangement (as seen in photo). This conversion is available as a kit only and fitting is relatively easy following our provided instructions.

Allard have carried-out much research and development for the BMW E46 series intercooler conversion. This particular intercooler set-up will fit both 320D and 3030D models. This conversion requires no cutting of the bumper itself to fit, also the crash bar is not modified or weakened in any way, however it is nessessary to remove the original fan mounting plate regardless if you have the original fan or not, this will make room for the new intercooler to sit directly in front of the original radiator. The mounting brackets are easily fitted and are twin connection brackets so you can find the "best position" then finally bolt up tight. The performance gain from such a conversion along with mapping is in the region of 25-30% increase in power and torque.
