TS-0203-1257 Turbosmart Kompact Plumb Back EVR07 for Renault Clio RS mk4 1.6T

The RenaultSport Clio has built a reputation as being one of the most fun-to-drive small cars money can buy. The latest iteration of Renault’s pocket rocket introduced turbo power to the Clio RS for the first time, and Turbosmart have been working to give the turbo Clio a boost. The result is Turbosmart’s Kompact EVR07 diverter valves and IWG-75 Internal Wastegate Actuator developed specifically for the Clio RS.

Turbosmart’s new Kompact EVR07 Dual Port and Plumb Back diverter valves for the Clio RS replace the Clio’s standard plastic bypass valve with a billet aluminium unit, designed with performance in mind. The standard valve can bleed boost, and if you’re chasing more power, it will struggle to keep up. The plastic construction means that it becomes brittle over time, and can eventually crack, causing significant boost leaks.

You’ll have no such problems with Turbosmart’s Kompact. Machined and assembled in Australia, the Kompact provides race-bred capability in a compact, bolt-on replacement for the Clio’s factory valve. A lightweight piston, precisely matched to each individual valve body, ensures excellent response and reliability. Because of the fine tolerance between the piston and bore, the Kompact does not need an O-ring between the body and piston to seal the DV. This enhances response, reduces required maintenance and improves long-term durability.

The product includes a Turbosmart Boost Reference Adapter, which provides access to a boost reference without any destructive methods, such as tapping into the manifold. This means the modification is completely reversible, important when the time comes to sell your car. The Boost Reference Adapter has two pressure ports, allowing you to run a second manifold pressure operated accessory such as a boost gauge. The Boost Reference Adapter is also available separately.
