A reinforced plate is distinguished from a series plate among other things by a higher convertible torque and higher resistance to shear stress.

By the shorter release travel faster, sporty gear shifting. This makes for use in the tuning for the street, for endurance racing and hill climbing (eg group N) and for vehicles that are often moving at maximum load, particularly suitable.
