Forged Con-Rods H-Beam

Forged 4340 Steel, all of our rods undergo CNC machining for superior tolerances and feature silicon Bronze bushing radial grooves.

 

Some of our standard machining procedures include: Alignment of sleeves for precise cap location, optimal balancing for weight matched sets (+/- 1g), center to center is held to +/-.001� tolerance and journals are honed to +/-.0001�. We finalize the process with shot peening for improved fatigue life.
